Monsters Moving Forward

Wow – what a whirlwind two months it’s been for us here at Monster Graphics! So much has been happening here in the Monster’s Den – here’s the latest:

Our New Office
After a year in the dark little office on Hannah Street and the addition of two more staff we decided to get more public exposure (and natural light) and find a new office. We were lucky enough to secure a great little office in Selwyn Ave right next to Blockbuster video and (across from the car wash) with parking right at the door! Although the front of the building is still bright red (ewww) we’re not far from painting and signwriting the whole front of the building in our very bright purple and green corporate colours – watch this space! Feel free to drop in and check out our new digs.

Logo Mojo
Also in the last two months Lynn from Logo Mojo has moved in and is now sharing the office with us on Selwyn Ave. Logo Mojo provides businesses with promotional products which range from anything from bags, drink bottles, shirts, umbrellas and anything in-between. She gets your logo printed on the products which make awesome corporate gifts or giveaways. Logo Mojo’s cute little Tuatara will be part of our new building signage, so we definitely won’t be missed! Our long awaited website system is now here! We’re really excited about our new Colossus web platform which we’ve been working hard on, and now Northland businesses are able to take full advantage of it. The BNI Christmas Party

BNI’s Northland Chapter celebrated the end of another year on Wednesday 2nd December, at Schnapper Rock Tutukaka. Our wonderful Event Co-ordinator Sara put on yet another awesome night out and with some help from our talented writer Emma they created a fun “Who do you know who” quiz for the bus ride. Whoo hoo Blue Team! BNI “Kings and Queens” were treated to a lovely buffet dinner, drinks and heavenly chocolate pud. There were a couple of musicians that entertained as throughout the night and the Schnapper Rock staff were friendly and kept the drinks flowing.

The Christmas Hat competition was a good laugh and it was soon clear who the designers were. Monster man Iain won the competition with his fantastic Christmas Tree hat. Giving him a good run for his money was Emma who came in 2nd and myself with 3rd. The bus ride reminded me of being at school again. The noisy table were last to board, sat at the back and soon were serenading us. The real shiners there would’ve been Jas and Craig – you go guys!

Team Monster had an awesome night – good food, good music and AWESOME company. Right fellow BNIer’s 3 more meetings for 2009, let’s go out with a bang and try to sweep Terry off his feet and exceed his targets.
